I purchased this USi Magic 8 Ball on eBay having never heard of USi, though the tagline under their logo (Making Software Simple) made it fairly clear this was a technology company. Unfortunately, the seller had previously purchased it elsewhere themselves, so had no further details. A press release from 2000 describes the company thusly-
