On November 1, 2004 Network Appliance, Inc. announced that they had “attained Gold Certified status in the Microsoft Partner Program with a competency in Advanced Infrastructure Solutions recognizing NetApp expertise and total impact in the technology marketplace.” If you think that’s a mouthful, go take a gander at the full press release.
This is only relevant for our purposes here because they sent out a custom promotional Magic 8 Ball to help celebrate this achievement.
Unfortunately, the folx at NetApp weren’t excited enough about their accomplishment to give us some techie Magic 8 Ball answers . Instead, they went for the generic answers offered by the manufacturer:
